Questions about Storyline and Rise development

Do we need an Articulate 360 license?

Not to use the course. The SCORM file runs in your LMS without it. You need a license only to edit the source yourself. See Storyline 360 pricing.

Do we get the Storyline source file?

You keep lesson 1 and the course map either way. If you want the .story source file for the full course, say so on call 1 and we agree it before we start.

Can you translate a Storyline course?

Yes. Storyline exports the text to Word or XLIFF. We translate it, import it back and re-record the voice. See how to translate a Storyline or Rise course.

Can you move our Storyline course to Rise?

Yes, by rebuilding it. There is no button. Clicks that only Storyline can do, like drag and drop, are rebuilt as Rise blocks or simplified.

How long does a Storyline course take?

Lesson 1 takes 7 days. A full 30-minute course takes about 6 to 8 weeks. Rise is faster to build than Storyline.

What does a Storyline course cost?

Most company courses cost 2,000 to 10,000 USD. Click-and-try lessons run about 100 to 180 USD per finished minute, branching scenarios 180 to 300. The cost calculator gives your range.
