List the tasks
Write down what the role does each day and week. Use the job description and ask a manager.

How often is it done? What happens if it goes wrong? Can people do it well today?
Pick the fix
Tasks people already do need nothing. Rare, low-risk tasks need a job aid. Risky or daily tasks people cannot do yet need a course.
