Custom compliance training, built from your own rules. See lesson 1 free.
Custom compliance training is a course built from your own policies and the rules you must follow, with quizzes and a record of who passed. We build it for home care and home health agencies, care providers, and any team a regulator checks.
Send us your policies, SOPs and old training. In 7 days we build lesson 1 free, as a SCORM file for your LMS. You keep it either way.

Why do agencies build their own compliance training?
A catalog course costs less. Here is why teams pay for their own anyway.
The catalog teaches the law, not your policy
A library course says what the rule asks. Your staff also need your own forms, your own steps and your state’s rules. That part is missing.
Your training is spread out
It sits in Notion, Word and slide decks, split by site and team. Two versions often say different things, and no one knows which one is right.
Staff click through without learning
If the video can be skipped and the quiz is easy, the record says "passed". It does not mean they know what to do.
Not every worker reads English well
Many care teams speak Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese and more. A course in one language leaves some of them guessing.
New hires learn by making mistakes
When onboarding is weak, people learn from what went wrong and from their manager after the fact. Some of them leave.
How we built a state-approved home care course, step by step
A US home care company had to train new and current staff on a schedule the state sets, and keep the scores. Here is what we did.
We gathered everything
We recorded calls with their managers, trainers and L&D team. We collected every document. We brought in our own subject matter experts too.
We made one source of truth
We merged it all into one PDF with no conflicts. Their managers and trainers checked it in a couple of hours and signed it off.
The state approved it
We put the material in the form the state wanted, and the state approved it. We also checked what 2 or 3 other agencies teach and filled the gaps.
We built lesson 1 first
They saw the colors, the motion and the voice before we built the rest. It took 2 small changes: the font and the logo.
We set the quiz rules they asked for
A quiz in the middle and at the end of every lesson. Staff can speed up the video, but they cannot skip it. The LMS keeps every score.
We built the rest, ready for 9 languages
2 modules and about 6 hours of video lessons, with an AI voice (their pick, to save money). The videos took about 6 weeks. We built it to be translated into 9 languages and put it in their LMS.
See a home care lesson we built
Turn the sound on. This is module 1 of an orientation course for home care aides.
Not in home care? We build compliance training for other work too
The method stays the same: one source your team signs off, your rules, and a course people finish.
Trucking: onboarding that is fast to update
It sat in PDFs and slides. We called the staff who knew what no one wrote down, and used photos of their own trucks and a video from inside the cab. Each part can be updated fast.
Kitchen exhaust cleaning: an NFPA 96 course
A certification course built on NFPA 96, the fire safety standard for kitchen exhaust systems. It also teaches restaurants how to keep their kitchens clean.
Your field, with the right expert
If you have subject matter experts, we work with them. If not, we find and hire one. Every script comes from a source your team signs off.

Questions about custom compliance training: rules, cost and time
Will our state or regulator accept the course?
We build to the rules you give us; your team signs off compliance. For one US home care course, we put the material in the form the state wanted, and the state approved it. We do not give legal advice or certify a course.
Which rules can the course cover?
The ones that apply to you: your state’s rules, HIPAA, OSHA rules like bloodborne pathogens and HazCom, home health aide in-service hours under 42 CFR 484.80, or CQC rules in England. See the home care training requirements map. Your team tells us which rules apply.
Can staff skip the video or the quiz?
Only if you allow it. We set what your rules ask for: quizzes during and after each lesson, a pass mark, and video that can be sped up but not skipped. On one course we suggested a final exam, and the client said no. It is your call.
What does custom compliance training cost?
Most company courses cost 2,000 to 10,000 USD. When a law sets the content, expect about 1.3 to 1.6 times the price of the same course without it, because every line is checked against the rule. The cost calculator gives your range.
How long does it take?
Lesson 1 takes 7 days. A full 30-minute course takes about 6 to 8 weeks, with your review rounds. A state review can add time, so we plan it in.
Can the course be in Spanish or other languages?
Yes. We build in English, French, Spanish and Arabic, and we can build a course so it is easy to translate into more. One home care course was built for 9 languages. Each extra language adds about 35 to 50% of the price.
Do you sell ready-made HIPAA or OSHA courses?
No. We build your course from your own policies. If a catalog course covers what you need, buy that: it costs less. See custom compliance training vendors compared.
Who owns the course?
You keep lesson 1 and the course map either way. The full course gets its own written agreement, so you know what you own before we start.
