  1. Build a new SCORM course

    From your slides, SOPs or notes: script, screens, voice, a scored quiz and the package. We set the completion rule the way your LMS expects it.

  2. Convert old content to SCORM

SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 or xAPI: which should you ask for?

Ask your LMS admin which one the LMS accepts. If no one knows, SCORM 1.2 is the safe pick.

SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004

  • Works in almost every LMS. SCORM 1.2 is the default most systems take.
  • Tracks complete, pass or fail, score and time.
  • SCORM 2004 adds sequencing rules and keeps the full quiz answers.
  • Ask for it when: the course lives in one LMS.

xAPI

  • Tracks learning outside the LMS: apps, videos, the job itself.
  • Sends its data to a Learning Record Store (LRS), which you need to have.
  • More set-up on your side.
  • Ask for it when: you track learning in more than one place.

Questions about SCORM development: LMS, cost and what is included

Which LMS do you deliver to?

Any LMS that takes SCORM: Moodle, TalentLMS, Docebo, Cornerstone, SCORM Cloud and the rest. We test the package before you get it. See which SCORM version each LMS supports.

Can you convert a course you did not build?

Yes. We work from what you have: the slides, the video, the PDF, or the old package itself. The source project helps but is not required.

How long does a SCORM course take?

Lesson 1 takes 7 days. A full 30-minute course takes about 6 to 8 weeks. A fix takes 48 hours.

What does it cost?

Most company courses cost 2,000 to 10,000 USD. Wrapping a video or PDF is free with our tool. The fix is free too. The cost calculator gives a range for a build.

Will the course resume where the learner stopped?

Yes. SCORM saves where the learner left off, so they can come back later. We test that too.

Who owns the files?

You keep lesson 1 and the course map either way. We build to the rules you give us; your team signs off compliance.
