How to make a good job aid
One task, one page
If it needs more than a page, split it, or it is really a course.
Start each step with a verb
Count, check, log, lock. Put the key number in the step.
Name the one big mistake
The thing that causes the most harm goes on its own "never" line.
Put it where the work happens
On the wall, the tablet or the back of a badge.
